SB 1150 and Texas inactive wells: what operators must do, and when
Texas Senate Bill 1150 ties the future of an inactive well to its age. A well inactive for more than 15 years, or completed more than 25 years ago, must be plugged, tested, or have a case built to extend it. The Railroad Commission is taking public comments until November 13, 2026. The first report under Section 89.049 is due December 1, 2026, and enforcement begins September 1, 2027. Exposure is computed wellbore by wellbore from the Commission's own file, which is what SEAL does for operators today.
ATLAS
What a security assessment should hand you
A scan report is not an assessment. What you should walk away with is evidence an auditor can use: what is exposed, how it was tested, and each finding mapped to the frameworks your team already answers to: NIST CSF, SOC 2, DORA, GDPR and more. ATLAS is built to produce exactly that: findings turned into evidence you can hand to an auditor.
LAAFI
Notes from the LAAFI pilot in Burkina Faso
LAAFI is in daily use at one clinic in Burkina Faso, serving about 300 patients a month. Digital records are replacing paper files, and this pilot is where we learn what clinics need day to day before we scale to more facilities.
